LAS VEGAS—Sure, some things could go wrong on the way to 5G. Bugs can pop up. Delays may occur. But 5G is going to come, no matter what. What’s likely not to go wrong: the insatiable need for more throughput, lower latency and more, a panel of tech executives from Qualcomm, Ericsson and Nokia agreed here at CES.
