China’s 5G capex expected to hit $280B over 10 years

Wei Leping, the head of Technology Committee of China Telecom Group, says capex of $280 billion between 2020 and 2030 is “acceptable,” and he estimates the number of base stations for 5G will be two to three times that of 4G.
