Ericsson earnings shine, but a corruption investigation looms

Ericsson reported strong first-quarter 2019 earnings this morning, with net sales of $5.3 billion, an increase of 7% year over year, adjusted for constant currency. The company attributed the growth to its 5G business, particularly in North America. Also, Ericsson announced with Swisscom that they have switched on the first large-scale commercial 5G network in Europe.
