Ericsson reportedly may slash 25K jobs as budget cuts continue

Telecom gear vendor Ericsson may slash more jobs outside Sweden as it continues to try to regain its footing in an extremely competitive worldwide market. The cuts would be part of a restructuring initiative started after the company posted an operating loss of $145.3 million during the latest quarter.
