Gigabit LTE gains velocity as more carriers, OEMs announce support

Momentum for Gigabit LTE is gaining steam, with Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) being the latest operator to announce on July 26 a 1 Gbps download service coming in September and Verizon a day prior cementing its plans to introduce Gigabit Class LTE later this year.
