The Wireless Business Group, LLC was established April 2006 to guide businesses, large and small, (i.e. manufacturing, hospitals, nonprofits, and universities) in matching mobility requirements with business goals.
Thomas Huegel, Senior Partner
Tom is a founder, Project Manager and Senior Partner at the Wireless Business Group, LLC. Tom has over 35 years in the cellular industry primarily working in corporate sales and engineering. Roles included: Engineering Site Acquisition, General Manager – Cellular One, Director of Sales for Cingular Wireless and Corporate Sales Manager for Cingular and ATT. Tom, a resident of Syracuse, New York, and is married with three children.
He is a graduate of Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Communications and has served on several local boards and community groups including Liverpool First Presbyterian Church – Deacon, Elder, Lady Wildcat Pepper Lacrosse Tournament Committee, Camillus Youth Hockey – Board Member and Coach, Lysander Youth Hockey Coach, Camillus Youth Baseball, Boys Scouts of America, Syracuse Executives – Board Member.
Sam Serianni, Senior Partner
As a founder, Technical Director, and Senior Partner of Wireless Business Group, LLC, Sam Serianni has spent more than three decades helping organizations navigate the ever-evolving world of cellular telecommunications. Over a distinguished 31-year career, Sam has built a reputation for combining technical expertise with strategic vision, holding leadership and sales roles with industry pioneers including Cellular One, Cingular, AT&T, and Telergy.
A resident of Westmoreland, New York, and a dedicated family person, Sam has been involved in supporting local youth and civic organizations. From coaching and volunteering with Westmoreland Youth Football and Westmoreland Youth Baseball to mentoring young people through the Boy Scouts of America, Sam’s commitment to leadership extends beyond the workplace.

CenterState CEO’s Economic Champions, presented by Fust Charles Chambers LLP, hosted a virtual celebration of 295 companies as 2020 Economic Champions for their collective hiring of more than 2,400 employees, 5.6 million square-feet of expansions, and $752 million in capital investments. At a time of tremendous economic pressure, 88 businesses were recognized for opening new storefronts, offices and facilities, and 40 were highlighted for celebrating a milestone anniversary, speaking to businesses’ commitment to the local and regional economy. Companies were nominated as Economic Champions for their accomplishments throughout the year by CenterState CEO, peers, employees and staff. The Wireless Business Group is proud to have been selected again this year for our efforts, in part, celebrating our twenty-first year in business !
