John Donovan officially named CEO of AT&T Communications ahead of Time Warner acquisition

Donovan, who has been with AT&T since 2008, will oversee the company’s traditional telecom businesses as well as its Business Solutions, Entertainment Group, and Technology & Operations Groups. The move is part of a broader strategy as the carrier restructures ahead of the closing of its acquisition of Time Warner.
